Imagine gettimg a power brick in a $29 package but not in $1000 phone 😭. It's ridiculous 😂
-
No intro :O great vid as always.
-
Just grabbed this for 18 bucks from Walmart. You’re like the only tech YouTuber I consult with before buying something if you have a review of what I’m looking at. Keep up the great work love your channel
-
Just gotta love that new intro like that black screen is just perfect
-
my original Chromecast still going strong. Great little device
-
If you use a PS4/PS5 controller, the touch pad usually works as a mouse in most android apps without any configuration.
-
Nice, will keep an eye on it for black Friday
-
Just picked up the HD for $20 on Google store, awesome review!

Thank you for showing the cloud gaming performance of the device. It's a very nice option that is available to a lot of would-be gamers who don't even know it's a possibility.
-
Great review, helped a lot in my decision. I'm just waiting for it to be sold in Brazil.
-
Holy moly, that ad banner is huge on Google TV
-
Can't go wrong for 29 bucks. I was a big fan of the Chromecast Ultra. The convenience of using my phone as a remote was perfect.

I’m still rocking first gen Chromecast and though it still works like a champ it struggles with some live tv streaming, runs hot and buffering happens quite easily in the beginning of almost every stream when using 2.4Ghz wifi. Would love for Google to release 4K+AV1 model soon so I could upgrade it for the next 8-10 years or so 😄
-
I've been considering getting the 4k verison. But that model has been out for a couple years now. I wonder when will Google refresh the 4k version and gives it an update? If soon I'll probably wait for that.

Thanks for the great review as always 👍

Nice. I own 1st gen Chromecast (it was a gift), and Chromecast Ultra (bought it), and I like them. My TV projectors (one Epson with LCD, and one Acer with DLP) doesn't support 4k or 60Hz, or HDR, so I am happy anyway. Speed is fine, no issue. I will update eventually, as I do want AV1 decode, and this new Chromecast is an option, but I think I will wait for the 4k version with AV1 for a bit, and then upgrade one of my projectors to high contrast, 4K projector, which are already at decent prices.

I'd like to see performance for AirConsole tested in these kinds of devices. AirConsole streams games but does all of the graphics processing locally making it unique.
-
would be lost in the tech world without your videos
-
These are free now for Google cloud users. I was interested in the emulation and cloud gaming but I already have a shield TV Pro which is leagues above this.
Thanks for doing all of the footwork on these videos. You're very appreciated. -
I guess one of the important thing to note is the support of AV1, and YouTube seem to take good advantage of it as we can see on stats for nerds (instead of the regular VP9 on older hardware)
