I’m from Infanta and as a geologist, I can only see one beneficiary to this project, that is, if one believes the planners: the Manilans. I’ve worked in China for a while and learned how how the Chinese operates and as Pinoys, we all know that Chinese has the general “no care” attitude. Chinese contractors are obvious targets for cheap and corrupted projects worldwide. The outcome? substandard build and will leave you on that thought to comprehend the potential worst case scenario....

Sa Indonesia, pinoprotektahan ng gobyerno ang mga indigenous people (IP) dahil naniniwala silang ang mga katutubong ang may natural na kaalaman at kakayahan makapagconserve ng kanilang mga kagubatan at dagat. Iyon ang source nila ng pagkain at kabuhayan. Iyon ang kanilang nagsilbing bahay sa sobrang dami nang dekada bago pa man sila matuklasan ng mga western colonizers. Dito sa atin, pinapaalis ang mga katutubo at kinakamkam ang kanilang ancestral lands. Pero kaninong interes ba talaga ang pinangangalagaan ng MWSS? Sa mga taga Metro Manila o sa nagpahiram ng pondo? Ang problema sa patubig ng Metro Manila nararanasan ng 2-3 months mostly tuwing tag-init tapos ang naisip na solusyon ay magreresulta sa permanenteng pagkakadisplace ng mga katutubo at posibilidad na pagkalubog ng malaking bahagi ng kagubatan ng Quezon sa tubig? 3 months worth of problem kapalit ng permanent destruction at perwisyo sa mga kababayan sa karatig probinsya? Bilyon bilyon ang nakalaan na pondo pero hindi makaisip o makahire man lang nang pwedeng magisip o gumawa ng mga pagaaral para sa mga alternatibong solusyon sa patubig. So really, is it genuinely for the benefit of us residents here in Metro Manila o more sa paglago ng mga negosyo ninyo at ng grupong nagpahiram ng pondo?

Naiiyak ako sa part na "Hindi kami marunong mag opisina..." that line alone is very striking... to MWSS palibhasa ee wala kayo sa lugar nila... Di niyo danas ang hirap niya...

Did these people consider the environment first? Actually the Philippines is one of the most affected of the Climate Change in the world, and as a student that has a love in nature, we should not be blind about this particular issue, Sierra Madre is one of our catch basin during typhoons, and if this project continues we should expect a lot of man-made disasters like flooding and even those people cultures will be affected, we need to sign a petition to the government to stop this project. How sad naman this government doesn't even care about the environmental problems it will generate #NotoKaliwaDam #NotoEnvironmentDestruction

Nakakkalungkot isipin sa ganda ng kalikasan at ang naibibigay nito sa pamayanan sa lugar na kung saan itinuring nila na buhay nila ay mapapalitan ng isang dam.na may posibilidad na maging sanhi rin ng kanilang pangamba, Sana makaisip pa ng ibang alternatibo para sa mga taga Metro Manila.

Harvest Rain Water, create rain water collector each household. Respect the law, respect the Katutubo. Maging lesson ang water shortage sa Manila para pahalagahan ng bawat isa ang kahalagahan ng Tubig.

Manila should built a desalination water plant that convert salt water to a drinking water instead of destroying the natural, surrounding area! Preserving land and nature, and used it wisely, will be a gifts that will keep on giving! My opinion!!!

I've been there several times.. sarap maligo dyan tinipak river, pra kng nsa ibang bansa. Tanggal stress mo kpg nagpunta ka dyan. Nkakapanghinayang kong sisirain na. Taung mga tao ang dahilan Kong sinisingil tau ng kalikasan.

Irespeto natin ang kalikasan at ang mga dumagat tribe #notokaliwadam!!!!!!!!
