Supernatural Fandom Drama || Jared and Jensen Are No Longer Friends??

Haven't watched the show or been involved in the fandom since s11, and since the Destiel Canon Nov5th incident I've been desperately trying to understand the memes and drama without watching the show because I can't do it again

When I woke up on the 24th and checked Tumblr and Twitter, I felt like that gif of that guy walking into a room only to find out the entire place was on fire. And it's STILL happening two days later?! O.o

I have no idea who these men are, i was just on tumblr for my hannibal crumbs and it trended and i want to feel included.

This whole drama is so hilarious 😂, I am not even interested in that prequel, the drama of the prequel is more interesting than the prequel

no bc witnessing jared's behavior online has really changed my opinion of him, regardless of how nice he may seem in convention videos. consistently, he keeps doing the same shit over and over again, and this time with jensen is no different. flashback to his infamous tweets regarding some waitress who apparently gave him bad enough service (in minnesota I think?) that he publicly NAMED her and her place of work and ranted about how she made him feel singled out and less than. cut to THOUSANDS of his rabid fans sending her threats and messaging her online and some even showing up to where she worked. it was only after some time had passed that he then tweeted something along the lines of 'oh btw pls don't send any hate I don't want anyone to get hurt.' dear lord, so many things to dissect there. 1) he's a celebrity with a huge fanbase and online presence, so for people to defend him and say that he didn't know she'd get hate after NAMING her and where she worked is bullshit. he knew she'd get hate, and he likely wanted her to after getting his feelings hurt over some little interaction. 2) he only ended up saying 'don't send any hate guys' because he wants to play the 'victim whose the better person' despite being the one to sic his fans on her in the first place. this time is no different--in fact, I think it gives an even better insight into what kind of person he is given that jensen is apparently his 'best friend' and a 'brother' to him. after hearing about rumors of a tv show he hadn't been aware of, instead of getting offline and simply texting or calling jensen about the rumors, he chose to lash out at jensen online and throw a hissy fit about it, only to then act like the bigger person and say 'don't send any hate guys' when he damn well knew the repercussions of calling someone out with as much of a platform as he has. I don't think he's a bad person who goes around intending to hurt others, but I think there's definitely something emotionally wrong with him. there's definitely a sense of entitlement he seems to carry for himself that keeps coming out again and again.

I stopped watching Supernatural around S13, when S15 was announced to be the last season I contemplated catching up, but what I heard of S15 changed my mind. I always viewed Dean as an older brother, and I’ve been a fan of Jensen since Dark Angel. The idea of them getting screwed over upsets me.

Meh I don't understand getting this wrapped up in a show. What people forgot is Dean always declared that Hunters lived short lives. He was essentially foreshadowing his death to us all. People who can't accept a non happy ending make me laugh. I don't particularly care for Jared but characters die. For fans of the Walking dead you all know the entire main cast should have been killed off after season 2 and re started over with new line. Ain't no way Rick should still be alive. It's why I stopped watching it.

Do you know I thought I was the only one suspicious of Jared and his supposed 'friendship' with Jensen. I think Jensen pays into it more than Jared, has always been supportive of those he works with. Including Jared, always praises Jared's 'acting' (please), yet this is what Jared does to him knowing how the fandom was going to react. The boys had a zoom meeting not so long ago and Jensen told him he had something in the works as far a as Supernatural was concerned, but didn't want to say too much until it was more concrete. To which Jared was like he'd jump at the chance to appear in the show! Now he's acting like he didn't know and he wasn't joking, then exhorting the fans not to send hate! What a b***h! Yes I hated the ending and how they did Dean/Jensen dirty at the end, whereas Sam got to live his best life! I stan Jensen.

I also love how Jared’s wife constantly post on her social media like she has the perfect life. Meanwhile everything she does is an ad.This is why myself and others are more into Jensen and Danneel. They don’t show off their life and expose their kids.
