I like storing bricks in my old tool cases. That way when some SOB steals them out of my truck they think they got something good. Thanks. You have some great ideas.
-
I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one that holds on to these cases knowing that I'll never do anything with them until now
-
A dewalt diaper bag? You got my thumbs up for that.
-
On the inside lid of your girls art box you could paint it with blackboard paint so she can draw with chalk or a peice of whiteboard. Just a thought.
-
The DeWalt diaper tote is the best man-purse you could carry! The other dads would be green with envy!
-
I use a couple of them to hold my ratchet straps tie downs that I use with my pickup truck. The boxes slide under the seats so they are never in the way, but always close by when needed.

As a musician, cases like these, as well as vintage luggage pieces and cool kitschy things like that, are perfect for carrying everything from cords and various tools to mics and foot pedals, etc. There’s really no end to the uses you can find for them.

BUddy, Ive never watched one of your videos, but clicked this one because its exactly the problem I have - you cant throw them away, but those old cases end up just sitting around. You've given me good ideas, but also you've made it a really enjoyable video to watch. Love your down to earth, humble presenting style. Looking forward to watching more!

I'm 58 and have the tin dustpan my father made as his shop project in school. He's 85 now. I still use it in the garage almost daily. Works better than a store-bought plastic one. Two thumbs up for your case recycling and keeping the memories alive in your cutting board.

Having a "shop oven" for projects like this is a great idea.

I love to see things repurposed into new things. I especially love the metal case you turned into your daughters art case and also the DeWalt case you cut foam to fit your gun. Those two are absolutely genius! I love the emergency car kit too. Thank you for these ideas.

I've always wanted to make a lunch box out of one of my Dewalt cases, Some spray foam and some fiberglass. a few pieces of channel and some rivets.
-
Great ideas. Up here in northern N.Y. I use a few for ratchet straps and tow chains, on the back of my truck. Keeps them a bit more organized. Nice work
-
Out for a walk in the park, reaches for dewalt diaper bag, opens, “shit I brought the handgun to a play park”...
-
I see these cases all the time at garage sales and never thought about making one into an emergency kit to put in my truck Great ideas. Thanks
-
Use mine to hold my tow chains and other things to keep together. Cool job nice to see other people used them, have 31 years of cases.
-
Excellent ideas, no shame or judgement in up-cycling for nappy carry! Keep up the good work!
-
Thanks for the ideas. I have watched it JUST IN TIME and almost get rid of my cases. Same as you i also kept them for so long time hoping one day i can need them for something. And now thanks to your vid i can gladly say; Im happy that i kept them .

I also keep all my old tool cases in hopes of repurposing them someday. Thanks for the great ideas!! It never occurred to me to cut them or melt them. The possibilities here are endless when you look at it this way!! Genius...
