In an age where personal gain often overshadows collective progress, Mark Golding stands as a beacon of selfless leadership and dedication. Despite possessing all that one could desire, Mark Golding chose the ordious path of seeking to lead our nation, sacrificing personal comfomfort and tranquility for the greater good. MG continues to shape a brighter path for all. Nuff respect

Agree with seeking overseas help. Everything else is just grandstanding. Even with the best of intentions, recovery is going to take a very long time. As much as JPS is always blameworthy, the damage is overwhelming, and even they deserve some grace. As a Jamaican-American, I can say Americans are just self-absorbed and condescending, and this is more apparent when they travel. Agree that Jamaica needs to be less dependent on tourism.

Hope you understand that the opposition is part of solution for making lives better and suggesting solutions, not politicizing storms, we live in storm prone areas and it will be so all our lives. ODPEM within a ministry offers easier access to collaborate ideas and get those in the ministry with better ideas to pass to on to others those ideas to better assist with disaster recovery
  • Where are the trucks with supplies. Less talk and more action.
  • We have to appreciate that a lot of WT do come to Jamaica just so they can be black folks. And many don’t live anywhere. Some in triailor parks
