Bear hit by a car and abandoned on National Road 1

The little lady was taken to the Libearty sanctuary where our veterinarian discovered it had a the right back leg broken.
In order to save the bear's leg and life, a veterinary surgeon will come from Germany.

Only if there's no other choice: If you hit an animal it's best to hit it in a way that kills him instantly. If not, the poor thing will die in pain and suffer. Other than that try not to hit any animal. It's cruel and it's not their fault.

It's better for the animal if X-rays and an MRI if available is taken and not physically move the bear's limbs to assess the damage when they're most likely broken, and put the bear through unnecessary pain.

This is one of the may tragedies with bears hit cars. hopefully this was a happy end.
