Thanks for a great tutorial in setting up the LC80. I struggled to do it by just reading the manual, but your video made it a breeze.
  • @Mommas_Studio
I do not have a manual since I got mine second handed.. thank you so much for all this info, extremely helpful with me being somewhat new to the hobby.
  • Ken thanks so much for diving deep. I was reading this in the manual, but you made it so much clearer especially the four wheel steer capabilities

Great video👍👍I just bought one or the radios in this video and was wondering what it could do . FMS is awesome! My FMS Rigs are my favs hands down!
  • Thank you Mr Ken … we appreciate you taking time to show us this. Yes, we can see it in the manual but as others have commented, you make it so much easier to understand. Thanks and God bless.
  • @tehKLN
Thank you Ken! Your breakdowns are so helpful!

Thanks for another great video. It was so much easier to watch this than trying to figure it out from the manual. I tried setting my endpoints when I received the truck and went back and forth through the manual, I did not accomplish it and fried my steering servo, just put a new one in and definitely will know how to do it properly now. Thanks again for the video!

For such a basic pistol grip it has an amazing amount of features. I really appreciate the thorough explanation of all the individual features. The FMS LC80 is my next purchase. This model is nearly perfect. Like you said an additional channel so I don’t have to switch out the electronics would be amazing. I think if FMS added some wheel wells to cut down on dirt and mud would put this over the top. I’m already super impressed with FMS. So much so that I’m buying every model they put out. New sub. Keep up with the informative videos.

I had no idea Ken, I figured it was the same old transmitter! Awesome video mate, thanks for the info 👍
  • @QuinnsRC
Great tutorial! Add a "turn signal off" mode as well as a channel 2 passthrough!
  • fcx18 electronics rule! Also, thank you so much for the info. This is my first hobby grade rc. The manual is a doozy to figure out, and fms doesn't provide any specs for many of their components. It's been a wild ride figuring things out lol
  • @devinparker8033
It's A bad little truck getting myself one for Xmas and just can't wait. Fcx electronics do rule so when they add a channel 2 it's gonna be insane!
  • @paulm1237
Man, the value on the FCX18 is just insane compared to the other brand offerings at this scale. the ONLY downside (for me) is that the local shops don't stock parts and you basically have to buy online and ship out of china.

New to RC. I just got one haven't used it much just testing in the house, after driving it for like 10-15min the rear drive shaft was spinning but not turning tires. Picked up the rig and the shaft fell out from the differential/axel. I took it apart (using your deep dive vid) and realized that the screw from the gear came unwound from the shaft. This was essentially new out of the box. Have you run into this issue or heard anyone with this problem? I screwed it back in reassembled and it did it again, I don't think i tightened it down enough, i didn't want to overtighten such a small screw and into plastic. So I disassembled again and tightened a bit more. It did not come out again immediately like the first I time fixed but I have yet to see if it last beyond a few min. Thanks
