SO MUCH LEARNED AFTER MARIA - importance of preserving , collecting water items for use and making things last as far as meals, and meds (extremely important), proper clothing, sanitation backup, cooking methods at least three, and making sure your home is secure, safe from winds, and alternate shelter is a must. Thank you for being a must in my preparedness routine checking info and preparing accordingly. Living here is beautiful and adventurous at the same time. Love from Puerto Rico to all your viewers,

Maria changed our lives here in Dominica. I remember it like it was yesterday, a hurricane that left nothing but destruction in her wake. Love what you are doing Brian!

Good morning Brian, the rain here on St. Croix last night was extremely heavy. Now, every time it rains, flooding will occur. The ground canโ€™t absorb any more. Thank you for keeping us informed.

  • The devastation of our sister island Barbuda by Irma was a game changer for me in terms of the importance of preseason prep, getting my supplies organized etc. People don't forget to include your beloved pets in your prep. Thanks Brian & have a super day ahead๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

We got upwards of 75 mph winds in Tampa from both Ian and Irma. Both storms were bad as they churned through Florida. Thank you Brian.

Good morning Brian and the rest of the weather community. Thanks for the advanced warning on the water temps. While we are accustomed to the hurricane seasons in this neck of the woods, it is always useful to be reminded to get our pre-season preps completed before the weather appears later in the season. Thank you for your diligence and professionalism in sharing the relevant information to each of our island nations and coastal regions. You are appreciated.
