In today's video I go over the top 5 index funds for 2024 and beyond. I did make a change to this years list compared to years prior, and that is the addition of VASGX - Vanguards Life Strategy Fund. I removed VQNPX from the list mainly because I felt like it performed and was composed too similar to an S&P 500 Fund, and the VASGX offers a more overall approach to portfolio diversification as its 80/20. In reality, VQNPX is still quite good to hold, but if you own VQNPX and say, VFIAX - you will have a lot of overlap!

  • This is my fifth year after retirement. I’e been following the 4% rule thing I saw on a youTube channel, but this isn’t really how hard I expected things to be. After I cashed out a lump sum, I still have about $760k left, but at this rate, and with how the market is (we were putting money away in an index fund), I’m starting to get really worried.
  • The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

Wow. I am blown away by this presentation. I was an insecure 49 year old on SS in January 2018 when I started buying Bitcoin/crypto. Everyone though I was irrational. Most still do. I put my income in every month and watched the value drop each month but for some reason really believed in Bitcoin and alt coins/blockchain even though I don't totally understand. Finally, the crypto market started turning around and I am astonished at the value of my crypto currency portfolio today. I engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 27B'tc....At the heart of this evolution is Kerrie Farrell, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment....
  • 80% stocks 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate $200k stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk of inflation.
  • My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.
  • If index funds started to distort the market, there would be opportunities for stock pickers to out perform the index so the market would self correct .I'm curious, which st0cks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth. I've allocated $350k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance

I wish to diversify my assets by investing in ETFs/index funds and stocks of corporations with stable cash flows. I received $400k from the selling of my condo in Mansfield. Do I need some sort of asset manager to achieve this?

Hi all! Hopefully you enjoy the 2024 edition of this video! Let me know what your favorite Index Fund is below in the comments!

Problem is, you need to pay the transaction fee for mutual funds. Like if I am using Fidelity, I need to pay fee to buy Vanguard mutual funds, but for ETFs like VOO I pay no such fee😊

Great video. I’m a finance major working on my CFA and I would say one of the most important metrics to look at when creating a portfolio is asset correlation. You might think something is diversified but it’s actually the same product with a slight difference. Mutual funds are a great product though!

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
  • Glad you are taking the time you need! As an English teacher who has used your texts with students struggling with mental health issues of their own, know that "everything you've done" has absolutely NOT added up to nothing. Everything you've given the world has brightened it for us all. We're better for having your voice. Enjoy the month of detox from the toxic wells of the internet.

Humphrey dropped a video! Time to take a poop at work. 💩

The no fee Fidelity index funds are great if you already have tax advantaged Fidelity accounts, because you can just sell the funds if you want transfer brokers.
  • My favorite videos from you are on investing. FXAIX is my main holding. I have a growth fund, mid cap fund, international funds and looking to be financially free when I reach my 60s. I’m 40 now.

Does it make sense to hold several types on Index funds in different accounts? For example if you have a Roth IRA and a standard Brokerage account, would it be beneficial to have shares of one individual type in both accounts or have different types of index funds in each account?
