   • A weekend back at camp (vlog) ⌁

I am officially announcing that I'm going back to be a Work Crew Director one more time before my camp days come to a close!! I graduate from college in May so this will be the last summer that I anticipate being able to serve in a role like this. ASDFGHJKL Crazy. But yeah, I'm stoked about the vlogs I'll be making again!

64 days until graduation ☃︎

Don't forget to pack hands-free tools-custom lanyards! They also serve as excellent souvenirs for the memories made during the camping. Design one from www.gs-jj.com/lanyards/Custom-Lanyards?utm_source=…

  • For anyone who is going to be a counselor. This is a message from a used to be little at a camp. Kids (at least every cabin I was in) LOVED their counseler so much. We would always fight to sit next to her, hold her hand, and stuff like that. So don’t be shy about hanging out with your campers. I’m telling you the better relationship you have with them the more fun it will be for everybody

I was a camper for 6 years and this year is my first year being a Junior Counselor. I have been so excited and learning about what stuff other counselors bring has been very helpful. Another thing about my camp is that we will have 3 years worth of new campers so it should be fun getting to help out! Thank you so much for this video! Keep doing what you do best!!
  • I worked at a special needs summer camp for 3 summers (2017-2019). I was a counselor for the first two summers, and leadership staff for my 3rd! Being international staff, I haven't been able to get back due to covid, so watching videos like this is a fab way to think about camp!! Camp has literally changed my life 🙌🏻🏕
  • This summer I'm being a camp counselor for a Christian camp, and I have been to a bunch of different camps throughout my life, but have never been a counselor. I am REALLY not sure how this is going to go, but I think as long as I remember what I'm doing and I'm cautious about my actions, and I try to be fun then it'll all work out. This video helped, and I would've never thought to being decorations, but I have purple fairy lights in the supports of my bunk bed at my house and think it would be really fun to bring those and use them in my cabin. I really appreciate this video, thanks and much love!👍❤✌🌼

my first (and a half) year on staff, i find a lot of camp shirts and hoodies are often the best to bring- they're already camp certified and usually super cute and comfortable!! and one thing i LOVE is i crochet so i can make garland and fun things for the kids!!
  • @chloegeeve1179
this will be my 3rd year on staff at my summer camp and I went for about 4 years as a camper and I LOVE IT! I love watching your videos and seeing someone who shares the same love as me! on the off year throughout school I love watching your old camp videos to help me get through the year!
  • I just got my first pair of chacos in perfect condition from plato’s closet and I love them, although they are a bit hard (but maybe they just need to be worn in more). But I have to say that I definitely recommend the sketchers water sandals! They are extremely comfortable and a great price. So if anyone is looking for a little more affordable option, look for sketchers ones!

  • I'm getting super excited for my 2nd summer as a counselor. Your videos helped me prepare last year! 🌟
