"Hero" - IL DIVO - In Memory of Carlos Marín - Miami [27 Feb 22]

With tears in my eyes as I listen , like you Sebastien, I just want to say thank you Sebastien, David, & Urs, for continuing on with what has to have been a heart wrenching decision to keep Il Divo going. The addition of Steven LaBrie to Il Divo is absolutely amazing and he has wonderful talent. I say addition, not replacement, because there can never be a replacement for Carlos Marin. I listen to Il Divo's Amazing Grace everyday while walking and as I look up at the sun when Carlos sings " when we've been there 10,000 years", I know God needed another baritone for his choir in heaven. I have had the privilege to attend four Il Divo Concerts and have all of your CD's. I wish I were closer to attend another. May God Bless you always.❤❤❤❤❤

That was a hard watch. Loved Il Divo from the beginning with their beautiful voices but Carlos’s twinkly eyes, gorgeous smile and fantastic voice just made me so happy. Still can’t believe he’s no longer here. Singing with the angels now, RIP Carlos.❤️🙏🏻

Carlos was a force. When he started singing it literally sucked the oxygen out of the room. He had a huge personality and you could feel the music when he sang. He will be greatly missed!❤️‍🩹

Mr. Carlos Marin was an incredible talent and a man with a wonderful personality and a love for live. Without a doubt one of the best singer on today's music scene . He is the only singer that can cause me stop breathing when he hits money notes. One of the best voices I have ever heard live . Carlos was Il Divo ! Thank you Maestro for everything 👏👏👏👏

It’s not the same without Carlos 😢😢😢😢😢💔💔💔💔. Just got to know he passed watching the royal variety show this night. I’m really sad for these amazing guys and his family. He had a captivating stage presence and voice….oh dear😢. He will surely be missed🙏🏽

Watching this a year on, and it's obviously still raw - Seb so overcome he could barely sing. If we miss Carlos, imagine how they must feel, maybe Steven a little less, but he is there for them. I read recently he is now officially a member of Il Divo. Not a replacement for Carlos, rather an addition, as I am sure Carlos will always be with them in spirit, and his voice is irreplaceable. Thank you guys for carrying on.

I have been a nurse for 35 years and would not trade those years for anything!! Thank you for your dedication of Hero to the doctors, nurses and so so many in the medical field. It touches our hearts more than you can know. Your fans love you guys so much!! Your singing fills our hearts with love, makes us smile and makes us so happy. I feel sure that Carlos would like Steven and approve of him as he has an amazing voice!! ❤🌹
