I played Crystal beasts in my first yugioh locals over a decade ago and after a ten year break I wanted to play them again without just ending on a bagooska. Along came your last video and I’ve spent more time reading your 15 page guide than I spent reading for my degree (it was a music degree I admit). Just got back into locals scene and can’t wait to turn up with something along these lines. 100% with you on the guide>decklist. I wish everyone did that. And as for this video, figuring out what to do with the bad hands was the last ingredient for this absolute beauty of a deck.

Since your January video on this kitchen sink of a deck, I’ve been constructing my own version of this deck. I love that, for once, someone is making a deck which isn’t either a typical fragile YT combo or just another generic deck Konami designed to synergize well. I love non linear combo decks, so I’ll be sure to follow along with these to see what else I can do!

Love your deck, I went for a "simpler" build that ends on sargas + F0 + simorgh/apex avian + Warriors + branded in red, I found quem and friends to be too bricky instead I maximized searching the one card combo with noble knigth shield bearer and small world with plenty of handtraps, also branded fusión despite everything is an excellent out of jail card. For example if your opponent ash your Crystal Bond and then imperms your tri-brigade You can just fusión and end on mirrorjade or rindbrumm + merc and some handtraps.

Really liked your past deck profile video. Is innovation really possible to that extent with other archetypes or individual cards? I wanna get more active on DuelingBook, and am trying to make Star Drawing viable. There's interesting interactions with Lavalval Chain for Infernity Archfiend (the former is banned, but wouldn't be surprised if it came back to 1), and with Soul Servant (DM quick play searcher; can be chained to SD's draw eff to essentially draw the search). How long does it take to make really interesting and cheeky synergizing decks?
