36th Birthday Party: Happy To Be Alive

Here is a peek at what my birthday party was like this weekend! 🎉🎈🥳

The theme was “happy to be alive” and I overestimated the amount of activities we could do. 🥰 Which just means there’s enough stuff for a second party sometime soon!! Hopefully not on the hottest day of the year! 🤣

One of my favorite reflections on this party was the diversity of my friends who came through. I realized collectively we were people:

❤️ Ages 1-77 🧡 White, Black, Asian, Mexican, Caribbean 💛 Straight, Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Pan 💚 He, She, They, Transgender 💙 Liberal, Conservative, Independent 💜 Neurotypical, Neurodivergent 💗 Parents, Child Free ❤️ Cat people, Dog people 🧡 Vegans, Carnivores 💛 Fat, Skinny 💚 Entrepreneurs, Employees 💙 Religious, Atheist, Agnostic

The list continues… I just realized how my friends continue to get more interesting, weird, and wonderful because they are all DIFFERENT. 🦄🦄🦄

And one of the things we all have in common is that we want to be happy in our own way. And lots of times… bubbles and piñatas will scratch that trick. 🫧🪅
