Unlike 99% of these videos, most of these were very clever, and a few I'll actually use to run cables tomorrow. One improvement, though, is for the applications you're using a half-dozen or more: You can use velcro wrap/strips to do the same thing and not waste anything. For the side-by-side cables, you can wrap all four with ONE velcro strip, and then thread ONE zip tie around all of them in an extended figure-eight pattern. This way you're only actually using one tie for each, and if you leave some extra, you can always "unzip" it later. Thank you for the vids, especially the rugged cable label ideas. Clever!

Guys, the guy is an artist, I don’t expect him to do all this on commercial jobs........do you? I bet he does it at home and when helping mates out at their places, just as I will now do at home and with my friends! It’s a video aimed at people like me , who don’t work in the business, but do occasionally cable. It’s not a vocational training course, enjoy for what it is (or don’t) but don’t relate it to the job site guys! It was fun, expensive to do but great look at home and hey if it allows me to run my hiking cables around without the boss lady complaining it’s a big win!! Lol Kindest Bib

Wow, very nice. For those that might be as OCD as I am at times, these are great tips to make it organized and pretty. I think someone suggested the flush cutters for trimming the ends as they can rip you apart if you aren’t careful. I have an equipment test bench at work and am changing zip ties out for velcro strips for just that reason. Looks like you lost out in a cat fight when that happens and is a terrible look with a polo in the middle of summer.

Here's a tip I learned from an excellent (old) EE contractor working in aerospace: when the customer (executive) is dropping millions of USD for custom test equipment, a little eye candy can go a long way to giving them a warm fuzzy feeling about the work they just paid for.

I am a fan of people who do cable management well, and these are all good tricks!

I like the idea of using the ties as a spacer between the cables for a more uniform way of keeping them together and know which one is which...no "rat's nest" so to speak.

Hands up those who enjoy that fleeting moment when you pull on the cable tie to secure it? For some reason I love using them. Much like this guy, but sadly my Father doesn't own a cable tie manufacturing business.

Amo l’ordine maniacale e i sistemi di fissaggio/etichettatura fatti in questo modo sono molto meglio di tanti altri “professionali” che si trovano in giro, perlomeno nel caso di modifica dell’impianto, puoi sempre mantenere una certa coerenza estetica (nessuno noterà mai se hai cambiato modello di fascette).
