Thanks for the video, this is something I’m really missing in my mechanics and I look forward to improving it

Dan, great stuff as usual! My 12U has been struggling beauty this year thing. Any good isolation drills to work on stiffening the stride lead at pitch. I teach kids that it is like slamming on the brakes on a car- and the luggage goes flying off.

If I understand you correctly, Tom Seaver's stiff front bent leg pitching technique satisfies your perspective. Correct if I am wrong. I am still catching up on your past videos. Keep up the great work.

Should your rotational energy send you in a more linerar motion towards home plate? Or is it okay to fall to the side?
  • i've been struggling with my front leg for a while. thanks for the video, it was really helpfull!

What can we do to increase external rotation in throwing arm? I watch video of myself and it seems like my arm doesn’t lay back much

but Phill ? swing leg retraction is not good he might has back pain
  • @uptempo9893
Hey Dan great stuff as usual. I have a three questions for you. Are there high velocity pitchers who throw with a bent front leg that straightens after ball release? If so do you think they would throw even harder if they straighten at release point? Finally, do you think command is better with a straight lead leg at release? Thanks for your time and knowledge.

Sir not a pitching coach, not even a pitcher. I just study. Helping my grandson. I like your stuff. Here is my comment. Your 15U pitchers look good but it appears both their heads are looking up at finish. Thank you for your time.
