I'm The Worst Rocket Jumper In TF2 History

Its not that bad, i seen professional market gardener soldier missed 11 times in a row on medic, that medic was me lol

As a 250-hour soldier main, I do also fail rocket jumping sometimes (and suck as trolldier 😔), but there’s always room for better. Your jumps aren’t bad - they can be improved with some “side tricks”, how I like to call them (i.e: negating fall damage by launching a rocket at your feet right before touching land), and by training it on special servers (“Tf2 Jump academy” is a personal recommendation, it has good levels for beginners, intermediates, etc.). Also, some basic tips are : don’t always hold W while jumping (it takes your momentum), always hold CTRL for a good height, time your jumps (for trolldier) and catch your enemies offguard (also for trolldier).
