Not only did Spider-Man No Way Home live up to the hype, but it also exceeded expectations. I did not expect Green Goblin to be like the actual villain of the storyline and have Tom's Spider-Man actually become what he was meant to be right from the beginning. With great writing, comes great theater experience.
  • I didn’t think any MCU film could live up to the hype and anticipation of Avengers: Endgame but Spider-Man: No Way Home came very close

    10. Matrix Resurrections 9. The Power of the Dog 8. West Side Story 7. Coda 6. Mass 5. The Mitchells vs The Machines 4. Belfast 3. Spider-Man: No Way Home 2. Dune 1. Licorice Pizza Honorable Mentions: Free Guy, Nightmare Alley, The Harder They Fall, King Richard, Spencer, Don't Look Up
  • How the hell is no one is talking about how the Matrix Resurrections made this list?

Spider-man : No Way Home is everything that a Spider or Marvel fan would desire for a movie
  • @henryqu19
The movies of 2021 are way better than 2020 , some of them even made history
  • @dafilmqueen556
I saw No Way Home in theaters with my family, and yeah, it's true. Never expected the movie to actually handle its source material better than other reboot sequels tend to do. It truly is something to admire the picture for.
  • @izetyusein3323
This list lost me the minute I saw The Matrix Resurrection at number 10.
  • To say that Spider-Man: No Way Home is a success would perhaps be understating things. Tom Holland’s third solo outing as the webhead is a multiverse breaking hit and is currently expected to break $1 billion at the box office by the end of the holiday weekend. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

In the end, I’m just thankful for a lot of these movies being able to be released at all in 2021, after how 2020 went

Titane Green Knight Annette Malignant The French Dispatch The Last Dual Antlers Saint Maud Zola False Positive Pieces of a Woman Malcolm & Marie Bo Burnham: Inside Werewolves Within The Card Counter Supernova The Father Judas and the Black Messiah Pig Flee In The Earth The Night House Last Night In Soho The Suicide Squad Reminiscence Chaos Walking Those Who Wish Me Dead Mortal Kombat The Little Things Swan Song Escape Room: Tournament of Champions Licorice Pizza The Tragedy of Macbeth The King's Man The Guilty The Woman In The Window there's plenty you forgot you could choose from, but instead you went the "safe" route. Oscar-bait films, SpiderMan, and saying what everyone else has already said, all films from the US without any foreign language or even smaller indies.

  • Are you ever gonna do more nostalgic lists, as in best movies of 2011 & 2012, separately?
  • @chasehedges6775
2021 was definitely an improvement over last year, in my personal opinion
  • @boiyeetus
Every single one of the honourable mentions as well as a few that didn't make it onto the list were far superior to The Matrix Resurrections in my opinion
  • @liamho1693
You have my utmost respect for having Mass and CODA on the list!
