Hey! Thanks for watching. This video took a bit longer than I thought it would to make, which is why if you saw the first community post about it that the original planned upload date was 5 days before it actually released. Whatever though, that's the past! Thanks for the patience on waiting for this video, even though it's the shortest amount of time between two uploads. I hope you're having a great day, and I'm going to fix the lack of a pop-filter now. Bye!

(Also submitting this for JJJreact)

Sub count at the time of uploading: 7.8K (Thank you!)
(I also lost like 30 subs while making this video lol)

*P sound* Anyways, thanks for watching. :)

I always thought that a good use for the fetching table would be to more intuitively make fireworks.
  • Copper powered rails could oxidize, not speeding up the minecart as much and be waxable to give people more control over minecart speeds for roller coasters.
  • @RodPrimata
needing to find a swamp with a witch to get the potion book would be cool
  • @EVILBUNNY28
I'd love for cauldrons to be able to mix potions. Right click a potion into cauldron and it will fill it 1/3, so then you can add up to 2 more potions to make a combined mixture to all 3. This would probably come with a hit to length or potency, so you could add either a crimson fungus to restore more time, or warped fungus to bring back the strength of the potions.
  • @Blaineworld
I think the fletching table should (let us make fireworks) but also let us dye the feathers on arrows, make particle trails for our arrows, and make them glow. (Edit: There are still people replying, so I just want to make it clear that I envision the glowing arrows "glowing" the same way the glow squid does.)
  • @TheGBZard
I love your animation style, you knock it our of the park every time
  • @broski7792
This may be slightly controversial, but I think the recipe book for brewing stands should only unlock recipes AFTER you brew a potion for the first time (or obtain it through other means). Basically, I think they should still leave a little bit of mystery for new players.
  • @soupra
I think the way the mod "Apotheosis" executed the Fletching table was perfect, they reworked it to have a use, where if you made a normal arrow, with flint, sticks and feathers, you get a bit more arrows than if you've made it in a crafting table, and they've also added different types of arrows such as you suggested, obsidian dealing more damage, iron mining arrow which breaks any block it hits as long as an iron pick can break it, and a diamond mining arrow, which you can already guess what it does.
  • @Gheorghe69
Yea maybe in 25 yrs they will add 10% of this stuff
  • @purplef0xx
In bedrock, we already have a block for making tipped arrows: the cauldron. Personally, I would want the fletching table to craft fireworks considering how confusing it is
  • @Mari-ez8dg
I love how much animation effort is put into small things like these two items falling down or leaning 4:02. I love how snappy things are too, I really like that sort of thing. I really like what you suggested for the brewing stand aswell, making it more like a cookbook is so much more interesting than just having a button click. I’ve been really liking your content so far, it feels very quality and you go into a lot of topics I don’t really hear talked about in this sort of format. Keep up the great work Andy! 💙
  • @delxmos
Can we appreciate how dedicated he’s to make video ? In just a short period of time he went from making "simple" videos to a literal production

I've been tinkering around with my own concept for a potion-crafting rework for a while now, and I had a different idea for a Brewing Stand recipe book (and Cauldron, but ill get to that later) The basic idea is that it doesn't tell you what things make straight away. A big part of alchemy to me is the experimentation, and picking up an ingredient for the game to tell you "oh yea, this can be used to make a potion of healing", while it could work, I feel it takes away from the whole experimental aspect of the system. I would instead propose a system where obtaining the ingredient has the game simply tell you "this can be used to make a potion" but not what potion it makes, meaning the player has to brew the ingredient themselves to see what potion it produces, and only then would you unlock the whole recipe for said potion. Also part of this concept was to give the ability of making potions back to the Cauldron where it belongs. Alongside this, it would get a simple (And OPTIONAL*, that is important!) UI with the classic ingredient slot, fluid slot, progress bar (The cauldron could be extra slow, and maybe heating it with hot blocks like a campfire could speed it up a bit as well?), and the recipe book as discussed earlier, as well as potentially a new tree of recipes utilizing the Fermented Spider Eye to make either Mundane or Thick potions, then continuing from there. Also modifying potions would be moved exclusively to the Brewing Stand, and certain potions that are made by brewing existing potions with fermented spider eyes could instead be made normally using different ingredients (One idea I saw was Slimeballs for slowness, Red Mushrooms for Harming, Spider Eye for poison, and rotten flesh for weakness) This would A. Make basic potions obtainable pre-Nether, and B. Make the upgrade to a Brewing Stand and brewing with Nether Wart more substantial. *the Cauldron having a UI would simply be to provide more information, such as the progress, present fluid, and access to the recipe book. I imagine the primary way of interacting with it would still be in-world.
  • Why do java youtubers always see fleching tables as a way to make tiped arrows? In bedrock you can use a cauldron for tipped arrows, plus you can trade for them, mojang should just add bedrock cauldrons to java.
  • @lilharm
connected table tabs like, putting a furnace next to a crafting table should let you access both without having to close a menu would even help simplify some things, like you could hide a chest full of coal behind a furnace, or a bunch of smithing templates behind a smithing table
  • @msw8616
5:30 I think a cool idea would be to be able to tint the fether on the arrow, that way you could diferenciate wich player shoot what, so you could play painball or something idk i dont have frends to play with
  • @luigraskullheart
Not only are your suggestions super solid and great, the video quality itself is incredible - the animation of the skin is suuuuuper cute, your editing is top tier and the photosensitivity warning was mega appreciated! Just wish this had better subtitles too, but otherwise this video is an instant subscribe
  • @10.981
In the world settings there is a button that can disable requiring the recipe, it's just called require recipe for crafting and if you turn it off you can craft everything already
  • @softkeysasmr
Vanilla tweaks has an amazing brewing stand recipe guide that appears directly within the ui
