Guys I added some links in the description for any item mentioned. Let me know if you have some practical tips i missed id love to hear from you.
  • Something contextually related: If you have a cat(s), have a layered desk setup. bottom layer: keyboard/mouse; macropad; anything with buttons. layer above bottom: drawing tablet; other periphs like an audio interface, midi instruments, speakers top layer: clean surface - This is where your cat(s) will sleep, stare, zoom, mortal kombat with other cats, etc. Optionally, where your monitors are as well. But has to have some adjustable riser. For me, one monitor is on the top layer. Another is off desk. My speakers are off desk too.

one thing I've read about getting up about every hour is to have a bottle of water and drink it then refill so about every hour you'll need to get up and pee. very good advice about ergonomics.

Something I got a long time ago that I'm really happy with is a Levenger bamboo laptop stand. It sits in your lap and has a wrist guard as well as slots to allow air to pass through. Reasonably affordable and looks really stylish as well. Tilts the laptop up at a slight angle as well, which helps with poster, I highly recommend it if you do a lot of laptop work.

It's refreshing to see someone taking the time to mention these good health practices considering the information isn't readily available to most people and many likely have bad posture. i've been advocating for things like this for years among my family and friends because it's so sad seeing all of these people ruining their bodies out of negligence or simple lack of information.
  • Holy Moley I didn't even think about tucking the chin! Thank you for saving us from the future pain 🥲
  • @adamb7968
Pain taught me to mount things to walls around my Ikea rocking chair, and learn to use a trackball with my off-hand. I was stuck in bed for some pelvis issues, which have improved!

Thanks for this video. i think a lot more artists on youtube should have these kinds of ergonomic tips next to their art tutorials. P.S.: my screen riser is a lil box and two books stacked on top of each other and what can i say, it works perferct😂

These are the tips! I start every day with a warm up qi-gong routine, stretching and a walk to get the body right before I do any work and ALWAYS get up every hour to mill around and force a break. It goes so far in keeping your body right so you can keep that work goin. Tyler with the insider secrets :)

I honestly have the worst setup ever lol and didn't pay much attention to it till now that said ofc I don't sit for long since it hurts but I will invest in a better sutep for sure thank you Tyler 🙏
  • @Monsieur.Nobody.
We have the same graphic tablet Seinfeld of Art! Am I crazy to see that resemblance?
  • how do I use my elbow when I only need to move my brush for a few inches? (which is almost 80% of the time) whenever I try to use the shoulder way my entire hand starts to hurt after like an hour, from my upper bones to my palm muscles ...I'm probably doing it wrong

Hi, I've starting seeing double when the contrast were high (like when there white writing on a black background), does anyone have an idea how to solve that problem? :') It probably happend cause I stayed in my room drawing all days everyday for a year. Which made me improve, but not as much since I broke myself on the way here, and now I draw less cause I see less.

Title should be renamed to sustainable health becaue I expected to get tips on sustaining creativity becaue I have been struggling to come up with interesting ideas. So I just get bored.
