here is some character information too, i suppose !!
Sterling "Slithers" Io (the purple one)
(Io as in .io games, Sterling Slithers like 'Sterling Silver')
- 29 years old, he/him
- acts really mature and older than he is? bit of a downer himself, but tries to keep the mood of others up
- a bit of country twang to his voice, just enough to be noticeable. it's even more obvious when he's nervous (which is rare)
- nobody really knows why he has snakes for hair?? went in and out of hospitals when he was a lot younger to try and find out, but nothing really came out of it. the two tail snakes are both fully sentient and control the body, not like parasites but more like they just share the same body xS doesn't really tell people but he also just doesn't care too much about it!
- doesn't have a proper mouth on his face. eats and talks through tail snakes, he thinks it's a bit awkward so he tends to try and hide this
- doesn't really talk unless talked to, but derails conversations very easily. he'll blab for ages if you let him
- owner of his diner/arcade Slitherio's; it used to be really popular, but it isn't busy at all anymore. Slithers still manages to keep it open somehow, maybe because he's turned the back office into his bedroom and just. lives there
- when Slitherio's was bigger, he loved providing entertainment and making sure the kids didn't get in any trouble. practically watched some of them grow up, loves to see them around town living their lives now. knows pretty much everyone
- believes Slitherio's would loose business if he changed anything. really only cleans and fixes things if they really need fixing, pretty handy with tools and electronics
- used to be business partners with his cousin, Agatha Io. she has a nickname but it's blocked due to similarity to a different website x[ it is said in the game project though! anyways she worked next-door at Agario's, she grew more and more greedy until she went missing one day. Slithers was disgusted by the decisions she made before she left. being generous and neighborly meant a lot to both of them when they were younger. right now he just hopes she's safe and happy.
- Agatha's little sister, Debbie (Debora Io) got really close with Slithers. He'd babysit her while Agatha worked. Debbie left 3 months before Agatha did to
start a new life, loosing contact with everyone but Slithers; Platforms really reminds him of Debbie, they're both so full of life and energy!
- sort of a has-been, really just needs a fresh perspective. cue platforms!!
Parker "Platforms" Scriber (the one that isn't purple)
(Scriber as in a scribe, a story maker; also similar to Scratch! Parker because.. idk they felt like a Parker to me??)
- 22 years old, they/them
- sort of childish, and stubborn. a serious troublemaker at heart
- their head is So oddly shaped. there's no brain inside of it but somehow they still function normally?? it also floats above their body, they have no neck. they still eat normally so?? who knows what's going on with them <:]
- rarely stops talking. they're just so full of energy and needs to talk to stay on track
- moved away a decade ago and recently came back to town, drifted from hotel to hotel before meeting Slithers and staying with him. (were they paying
for the hotels? well... they were always chased off after a few nights xS
- used to visit Agario's when they were a bit younger; met Slithers when they tried to revisit Agario's, it had been closed for a week or two by then
- very focused on trying new things, innovation and technology. vague interest in entertainment too, learning a lot from Slithers about it. but really,
they're constantly learning from each other
- never really close to their family and not very good at making friends, but they sure are ready to try!
anyways i gave them a sort of older brother and younger sibling dynamic... wanted to make a story that's homely but still has some potential for a little drama and interesting backstory !!
