There was a time when many asked me: "how do you shade your drawings", so in this project I tried explaining about how shading, hopefully this project can be a good guide for this community. Most of the tips in the project are very general, I think it should be viewed more as guidelines rather than concrete rules. Beside, it is you who is doing the drawing, not the tutorial :D

Anyway, extensive shading is mostly used when you're aiming for something close to realistic art. Some style doesn't have to be shaded as much (but it is always neat to give an art a decent shading as it gives an atmospheric feeling) ~
