A prom. At the school. Jessie couldn't believe it. She had seen Lukas REFUSE someone asking him to it, and yet, there he was. Surrounded by girls, at the prom. He chatted to them, completely ignoring her. The music was too upbeat and dancy for her. Jessie went to the refreshments area, picked up a lemonade and nibbled on a cocktail sausage. She didn't notice Lukas come up until he asked her to dance. "Uh, yes!" Jessie said, blushing a little. A slow song had come on. They danced, and Jessie put her head on Lukas' chest. They were only two other couples dancing. "This couldn't get any sappier." Lukas laughed slightly. Jessie lifted her head up.
"Yes it can." She said, and kissed him.
