On October 1st, 2017, a gunman opened fire on an audience from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The audience was listening to a Harvest Country Music festival. As of November 10, 58 people have died and over 500 people are injured. The 2017 Las Vegas Shooting is the largest public massacre in modern American history. (Paraphrased from Wikipedia and CNN)
What is happening to our country, and our world, where people think they can kill innocent citizens with impunity? Why do people think it's ok to grab a gun, and murder whoever they feel like? Because it's NOT ok.
Thankfully, we can help those affected by the massacre. If we stay strong and hopeful, we can get through anything. I'm amazed by how 15+ Scratchers were able to create something fantastic in under 40 days. It would be great if you could congratulate them on their profile. You guys worked so hard, and it looks awesome! <3
This is what we've made: A Multiple Animators Project (MAP), to the song Dear Hate, to remember the victims of this terrible event. The song, by country artist Maren Morris, ft. Vince Hill, was also released to honor the victims of the shooting. Hope you enjoy <3
