Love Is A Battlefield is a bullet hell/dating sim mashup originally created in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 41 ("Combine 2 Incompatible Genres"). Win over your date, Karen, by literally showering her with affection and overcoming her insecurities.
This is the DX version, featuring improved graphics and sound, two difficulty levels, and a whole bunch of bug fixes.
