Helping Up Mission provides hope to people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction by meeting their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.

The average homeless individual we serve has survived two decades of substance abuse and years on the streets. They come to us addicted, destitute, and dysfunctional — with no realistic capacity to recover on their own.

For an individual in that condition, a “quick fix” doesn’t exist. Healing requires a holistic approach. By God’s grace, lives are transformed as people who have suffered for years — or in many cases, decades — on the streets rise and regain their purpose, hope, and independence. As they do, all Baltimore is blessed along with them, our community experiences healing.
