It started with a dramatic exit from my first class. Yes, this profound love affair with the liberating magic of yoga. Next thing I am off to Rishikesh, the Disneyland for yogis, getting certified in Ashtanga Vinyasa & Hatha styles of yoga. I was invited to further hone my craft at S-VYASA, Bangalore's esteemed yoga university, courtesy of the coveted ITEC scholarship. Quite an odd departure from my profession as a public policy wonk. But look, I've never been conventional, where's the fun in that? Armed with over 500 hours of certification, a sprinkle of teaching experience, and even a shiny silver medal from the International Yoga Olympics Committee (yes, that's a thing), I curated this space to offer free tutorials, unravel yoga's mysteries, and instill hope in my community to embrace authenticity while fostering new connections and friendships.
