Opened my own Business, my background in Chemistry is very helpful, to mix chemicals to form a perfect formula for painting’s that do not respond to “ normal test analytics “ .
I consult my Physics/ Chemistry Handbook & viola... after many nights & days of pondering the solution, to remove the Top Later of the Painting w/ out removal of the “ Artist Intent “, we find a mixture of specific tested chemicals on a very small area; most often, proven to be quite favourable, in the outcome of the Conservation. It’s also so rewarding, to see how each painting responds after treatment.
