Hello, my name is Paul Scot August, and welcome to my Youtube channel. We have recently moved into a new house (Fall 2021) with a nasty, unfinished basement. I have chosen one side of the basement to finish for the beginning of my layout. Once that room is finished, I will begin building my HO Scale model railroad, the Chicago & North Western Mondovi Branch Line. The Mondovi Line is a former Omaha Road (CStPM&O) branch line that ran from the mainline junction at Fairchild, WI 36 miles West ending at Mondovi, WI. Along the way, the line passed through the towns of Price, Osseo, Strum, and Eleva, WI. on its way to the end-of-the-line at Mondovi. I plan on modeling the terminus town of Mondovi first, then over time add a new town along each adjoining wall of the room. The layout is set in the late 1950s and runs a combination of steam and diesel.

The initial layout section, Mondovi, will be a 16'x2' shelf layout along one wall of the room.
