BROOKS WACHTEL an Emmy winning writer/producer.

He co-created, executive produced the hit series DogFights for the History Channel. Also THC documentaries, episodes of The Great Ships, Search and Rescue, The Royal Navy and Fly Past, which won the Cine Golden Eagle Award. Silver Tsunami, an award-winning independent documentary.

Over 100 episodes of dramatic television - with shows as diverse as Fox’s live-action Young Hercules with Ryan Gosling, to animated hits like PBS’ Liberty’s Kids ,Tutenstein, Heavy Gear, Spider-Man, X-Men, Robo-Cop, Beast Machines: Transformers and Clifford the Big Red Dog. His script for Tutenstein won an Emmy Award.

Wachtel's premier novel, Lady Sherlock: Circle of the Smiling Dead, an emancipated and brilliant detective in 1906 London. The sequel is in the works.

Brooks served on the Steering Committee of the Animation Writers Caucus of the WGA, as and teaches screenwriting at UCLA. Is a magician member of Hollywood’s Magic Castle.
