I’m in the early stages of planning a loft layout I went up I the loft the other day to see how much space I have and what condition the loft is in as I’ve not been up there before as we privately rent , it’s not as big as I thought , but it’s 3 meters by 4 meters , I’m looking probably at a run around layout set in the late 90, s but would like to add some new locos like the 68,s and possibly the 800 set . I’ve never built my own layout before so I’m going into the unknown , I have subscribed to many of you guys on you tube to get ideas and how you construct your layouts , my first job will be to line the roof with foil and add some lighting and more power then I can get on with construction of the layout , funds are a bit tight at the moment as I was in a consultation period at work facing redundancy but managed too keep my job but a different role . So hopefully in the coming months I will be able to start building , thanks to all your channels that help me getting started .
