Welcome to my channel!

JoHart here! I set myself a challenge in 2020 to begin writing children's books. These books are aimed at (but not exclusive to) ethnic minority children & those from lower socio-economic groups.

Studies have shown educational disparities between these groups and their counterparts (exc. Asian children who generally excel academically). A major factor at play here is literacy.

I myself didn't find reading particularly enjoyable growing up. This was because the stories, images & characters were unrelatable.

So now, 15 years post-graduation, with a degree in Writing for Media Arts, I've answered the call.
