Myrto Assimakopoulou was born in Athens, Greece. She began her music
studies in the National Conservatory of Athens, where she received an
internship and was a prentice of the famous Greek pianist Elena Mouzala.
She concluded her studies in Advanced Music Theory under the famous Greek
musician Mike Rozakis.
She graduated the National Conservatory and received her Piano Diploma with
grade Honors (unanimously) and Second Prize.
Throughout her career, she has attended various renowned seminars for piano
technique and musical expression held in Greece and abroad by distinguished
artists.
She has given concerts in various cities in Greece performing chamber music
masterpieces
Her repertoire includes numerous works of the classical and romantic era as well
as masterpieces of famous Greek composers.
Apart for her solo career, she also performs as a member of MELISMA – piano
and harp duet, which has given many concerts with various music works.
