About Sallie McG

I’m a theater mom; I’m not a stage mom. Unlike many aspiring actors my daughter hasn’t been doing this since she was in diapers. Her first play was in the fall of 2021 and her first vocal recital was later that winter. We’re very new to all of this. I’m learning as much as I can and I’ll share what I learn. Hopefully it will help other new theater parents.
Theater is a highly competitive world, but it doesn’t have to be mean. We should teach our kids to gracefully accept success or defeat, to encourage others who are less experienced or less confident and to freely praise good performances by their peers. Let’s work together to help our young actors achieve their dreams
