Majik Iyes is a poet and photographer. He is retired from the US Army who saw combat service in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is an avid gardener. Majik loves all genres of music,
Traveling, and is an amateur chef. When not writing poems, shooting photos of nature, Majik loves to be in his garden. Majik also enjoys healthy robust debates on any subject because he is alway eager to learn. Majik holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and an Associate of Science degree from Medgar Evers College. Majik is apolitical and is a defender of equal rights and especially those protecting women and LBGTQ citizen. Majik when he can loves to volunteer and give back to those in need.
