Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme, aka Pathfinder Dogs, raises and trains German Shepherds as guides for blind people in the UK.
Did you know that German Shepherds were the ONLY breed that was originally used for guide work?
It costs us approximately £36,000 for training a dog from birth to qualification (about 2 1/2 years) but we cover ALL costs throughout the whole of their life.
