About Takiwayra
We share melodies from the ancient cultures of this world as well as songs we have found in our own hearts. They are devotion to life, love poems to Mother Earth, embraces of the primal and the wild. Sound is the universal language that touches your body-mind-soul and opens you up to the very mystery and unity of existence. Takiwayra was founded in Peru in 2016 and is based in Germany. We are inspired by various indigenous traditions of our older siblings that keep the earth in balance. We learn from them with deep respect.
