About Jay Sloane
This channel is about the Lotus Eleven, a racing sports car built in London England from 1956 to 1958. Jay has been a Lotus Eleven aficionado since 1972, buying his first one in 1975 and beginning a decades-long quest to find and interview people who helped design and build the car, as well as many more who raced Elevens in the years they were supreme.
This is a completely non-commercial effort to state the purpose, design and evolution of this milestone racing car.
Today Jay is the Lotus Eleven co-registrar (with Victor Thomas) for the Historic Lotus Register.
